Cottage Preschool is located in the heart of Rainham village at the Royals Youth Centre. It offers two age appropriate rooms;
RAINBOW ROOM
Rainbow room offers and excellent safe age appropriate room for our youngest 2-3 year old children with an excellent staff ratio of 1 adult to every 5 children. This bright attractive room offers a safe homely environment with excellent educational learning opportunities.
LADYBIRD ROOM
Our new Ladybird room especially caters for our 3-4 year old children’s growing needs. In this bright attractive playroom children have an excellent learning environment with opportunities to develop the 7 areas of learning with fun activities and friendship, ensuring children are ‘school ready’ when starting primary school.
There is CCTV in all rooms. Children have the opportunity for daily outdoor play in our purpose built children’s garden.

Welcome to the Cottage Preschool, I am Rebecca Kelly, Preschool Manager at the Cottage Preschool.
We are proud to be celebrating 22 wonderful years at Cottage Preschool nurturing young minds and inspiring a love of learning. We are excited to offer eligible children funded places from the term before their 2nd Birthday giving your child the perfect start to their educational journey.

Early Years Preschool staff
The staff at Val Robinson Childcare are a team of highly trained and experienced Childcare Practitioners, each carefully selected for their caring nature and professionalism, thereby providing their own particular skills. All staff are qualified to NVQ level 3 Children’s Care, Learning and Development or equivalent. Managers can be identified with Navy Blue tunics, Room Leaders, Purple tunics and Early Years Practitioners wear Red tunics.
We offer excellent adult child ratios of 1 : 5 for children under 3 years and 1 : 8 for children aged 3 – 5 year old.
